Sample and purchase some of the finest red wines South Africa has to offer. Between sips: a film on our viticulture and winemaking, portraits of the estate's history, a display of Paul Sauer in every bottle format, and the geology of our soils under glass.

The Vinotheque

Library vintages, ready to travel

Inside the tasting room, the Vinotheque stocks gifts and library vintages to take home — older releases of the estate wines, matured in our own cellar. Can't make it to Stellenbosch? The same library releases and curated gifts are in the online shop.

Snoekbraai at the Paul Sauer Cellar

The famous Kanonkop snoek braai

Our vintage cellar and its courtyard host family-styled functions — end-of-year celebrations, birthdays and get-togethers — built around a traditional snoek braai hosted by the Krige family themselves.

  • — Optional cheese platter starter
  • — Snoek off the fire with fresh bread & homemade grape jam
  • — Caramelised sweet potatoes & salad
  • — Koeksisters to finish

Minimum 20 guests. Subject to Krige family availability. No walk-ins.
